Po přísném setu na začátku prosince 2023 se Fotocrime tentokrát představí v podstatně příjemnější teplotní konstelaci, kdy květnový optimismus vyváží jejich temnou hudební koláž. V soundu Fotocrime se potkávají hudební elementy tak typické pro Bike Jesus – dark wave, post-punk, jasný odkaz na striktní německé EBM kořeny a gram italo disco obskurity. Se stále ještě aktuálním albem Accelerated se kapela zpěváka, skladatele a multiinstrumentalisty Ryana Pattersona (ex-Coliseum), kytaristy Nicka Thienemana (Young Widows, Fool’s Ghost) a baskytaristy Willa Allarda (Aon Brasi, Xerxes) vrací do Bike Jesus zjevně proto, že jim tohle místo bylo na sklonku loňského roku sympatické. To je zase sympatické nám a těšíme se, jakože hodně.

Jako support zahraje DIY uskupení Dÿsko. Post disco techno noise punk kapela. Práskání biče, tlak a úzkost. Poslední diskotéka, kterou chcete slyšet.

Fotocrime is singer/guitarist/producer Ryan Patterson, guitarist Nick Thieneman, and bassist Will Allard. On a foundation of danceable, battle hymn drum machines and layered synths, Fotocrime is known for their transcendent electronic-meets-organic post-punk with driving bass, chiming guitars, and Patterson’s unmistakable baritone. On their last European tour stop, Fotocrime will present their latest album ‚Accelerated‘, perfecting their version of post punk/dark wave.
Fotocrime’s fourth album and first for new label home Artoffact Records, Accelerated finds the band leaping forward from their signature darkwave-leaning post-punk into new territory. The album includes electronic rock anthems, soulful sophisti-pop, minimal synth punk, hints of Italo Disco, and dreamy art rock. The dark night at Bike Jesus is wating for you.
